ABOUT STRONGSVILLE, OHIO

Strongsville is located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and is a suburb of Cleveland. The 2010 census lists its population at 44,750. The Strongsville real estate market went through some small fluctuations in the past few years, but saw a quick rise in house prices at the start of 2017 that has yet to abate. According to its website, Strongsville “blends a strong business community with small-town charm”. Like much of the eastern United States, it has a centuries-old history, having been founded in February of 1818 as a township in what was then known as the Connecticut Western Reserve. It was named after John Stoughton Strong, the leader of the settlers that purchased the land.
